Site optimisation and search engine submission

We consider search engine optimisation (SEO) an important part of the plan when designing a new site. By knowing what your target audience are searching for helps us to build a structure that will allow them to find you.

Google logo

By understanding how Google works, we help our clients build a site and adjust their content to improve their wesbite rankings.

Some things we think about:

  • Structure: building a strong navigation system with clear, relevant titles. Avoiding frame-based design to allow search engine spiders and robots access to all important areas of the site.
  • Access and usability: The structure of the content is kept clear and consise (the way we build our sites means that 'design' code and actual 'content' are kept separate) so search engines can easily prioritise what the site is about.
  • Content: editing the words and language used throughout the site to attract search engines and visitors.
  • Refreshing: Integrating content management systems allows our clients to continually update their sites with useful content (and keywords).

Site evaluation

We do not generally provide search engine optimisation as a stand-alone service. We consider good rankings the result of continued work that starts right at the begnining of a web project. We do however, provide an evaluation service which looks at the site from a search point-of-view and can give suggestions on improving your results. We can also give clear costs on implementing these suggestions.
