TMA (UK) wanted to redesign their web site to provide more visible benefits to their Members and Sponsors and make it easier for staff to manage the site themselves. The existing site had worked well but had to be updated manually (involving their web designer – and extra cost) and events had to be booked manually by email or phone which became difficult to manage as numbers increased.

The web design followed the International branding guidelines from the global US-based TMA with additional colour and image style unique to the UK chapter.
First, we created a siteplan which would grow with the organisation and allow members and visitors to book events, change profiles or add their own news articles. A content managment system would allow staff to manage membership, event bookings and site content through the web-based admin interface.
Starting on the design we took the required elements from the corporate style guide that had been established by the US-based International TMA organisation and developed it further, introducing a new colour and images relevant to the market sector and unique to the UK chapter.

The Content Management System allows the client to add and edit events on the website, and once published can be booked and paid for online by the public.
The new web site gave TMA (UK) a strong professional image while being easy to use for both membership and staff:

An email newsletter was designed in keeping with the new web site and integrated into the CMS. TMA create the email in our simple editor which is then sent to all opted-in members.
The new website which Speckled Frog designed and put in place for us has transformed our business.
We have been able to move towards a web-based focus, with all of our branding and marketing based on the website, both in terms of presentation and as a focal point for all our communication to members and non-members alike. We organise over 40 events a year throughout the UK, with over 2,000 attendees, all booking on-line via the events booking system. We have a database of thousands who we keep in touch with via the e-mail system at a touch of a button. The website over the last 12 months has attracted over 82,000 on-line visits, which in itself should be a testament to it's success.
We are a non-profit organisation and costs are critical to us. The website has enabled us to continue to support the association with minimal distraction. The service we have received during the initial development and the on-going expansion of the website facilities has been excellent. Speckled Frog have met all quoted budgets and timescales (often quite pressurised from us!) without fault and are indeed excellent partners to have in our business.

…The new website has transformed our business...
Working for CUP, we designed the new website for Norwich School. A mix of traditional style to emphasize the history of the surroundings with modern design touches, we helped structure the information for maximum usability as well as providing full accessibility features. The site includes full content management with staff able to update the entire site including daily calendar, news and gallery.
The second site created by us for this Bedford-based medical devices company. With a product now available for purchase, the website target audience changed from initial investor to end-user and needed to provide product information and sales opportunities. The website features video clips, latest news, product downloads and targeted enquiry forms, all updateable by the client through a content management system (CMS).
In keeping with printed material by Cambridge design agency 2g, we created a simple brochure-site to promote this Cambridge alarm company. Bold colours and fun icons kept the design appeal fresh.
Working with CUP we provided design for this Cambridge school web site in line with new brand guidelines. The design had to work across the three schools as well as promoting the new co-education plans.
Following a rebranding by print designers 2g, we provided design and development of the supporting website, including content management system for the news and events.
A website created to promote the Nature Reserves within the City of Cambridge. Our content management system allows staff to keep the site up to date with latest events, news and wildlife sighting and site visitors can contribute with details of their own.
From branding by Cambridge design agency 2g, we created this solid design for Professional Audio suppliers Audioforce.
A new design for this company of finance managers includes content management system for updates to their news and events as well as email promotions with a supporting template design.
